You were made for a week like this.

Every summer, a group of ordinary people do something extraordinary — they step away from their normal lives for five days and give everything they have to children in foster care who have rarely, if ever, felt safe, celebrated, or loved. This is Royal Family KIDS Camp Littleton. And we are thrilled that you’re a part of it.

Key Dates

  • Camp Work Day

    May 30 9:00 AM

Optional work day to organize and prepare supplies for camp. This team will be preparing and organizing all of the campers arrival kits, crafts, and other organizational tasks.

  • Training Day

    June 27 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

This is a required training for all volunteers — new and returning. You'll get everything you need: the week's schedule, child safety protocols, trauma-informed care basics, your role assignment, and time to connect with your team. Plan to be there the whole day. Light breakfast and lunch are provided.

  • Commissioning Services

    July 12 @ Waterstone & Aspen Ridge

Our supporting churches have a tradition of praying for and sending out the RFK team the week of Camp. Join one of the services in Littleton or Evergreen to participate.

Your role starts now.

Step 1: Set Up Your Personal Fundraiser on Colorado Gives

Colorado Gives (coloradogives.org) is a trusted statewide giving platform — and it makes donating safe, simple, and tax-deductible for your donors.

Visit coloradogives.org/RoyalFamilyKIDSLittleton and set up a personal fundraiser page. Set a goal of $500. This becomes your giving link — the one you'll share with everyone you invite to support you.

Step 2: Send a Personal Letter to at Least Five People

We've created a letter template you can personalize and send — by email, text, or old-fashioned mail — to at least five people in your life. These should be people who know you, trust you, and would be moved to hear what you're doing this summer.

A handwritten note or personalized email will always outperform a mass blast. Take five minutes to make it personal. It makes a difference.

Step 3: Invite People to Join the Prayer Community

Not everyone can give financially — but everyone can pray. Share the link to our website http://www.rfklittleton.org where people can join the email list to receive updates and prayer requests from camp.

This is how we build a community around these kids that extends far beyond camp week — and it's one of the most meaningful things you can offer someone who wants to help but doesn't know how.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You'll receive a full packing list and role-specific instructions after your application is approved and closer to camp week. In general: comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes for activities, a servant heart, and all the energy you've got.

  • Yes — with some specific guidelines. Teen volunteers (ages 16–17) serve in a support role under adult supervision. Contact us for more details about the teen volunteer process.

  • This summer’s theme is “Follow the Shepherd” based on John 10:27 - My sheep listen to my voice, I know them, and they follow me. The full week is designed around the truth that God knows them, they can listen to Him and that God’s family is for everyone.
